Castor Oil is a vegetable Oil obtained from the Castor bean. Castor Oil is a colourless to very pale yellow liquid with mild or no odor or taste. Its bOiling point is 313 °C (595 °F) and its density is 961 kg/m3. It is a triglyceride in which approximately 90 percent of fatty acid chains are ricinoleic acid . Oleic and linoleic acids are the other significant components

Industrial Castor Oil, which is obtained from a mixture of the first pressing and the second phase of pressing or solvent extraction and further neutralizing by steam stripping.This is also called commercial grade Castor Oil.Commercial Grade, obtained from the seeds , is a pale yellow, viscous, Oily liquid insoluble in water. It contains more than 87% of a unique hydroxy fatty acid viz. Ricinoleic acid. Commercial Grade is the starting material for manufacturing different grades of Castor Oil and its derivatives.

Castor Oil Cake

The Casotr Oil cake obtained after the pressing of Castor bean twice. Castor Oil cake is one of the most versatile natural manure. It is truly an organic manure which enhances the fertility of the soil without causing any damage or decay. The cake, although rich in protein cannot be used as cattle fodder because of its toxicity. However, it can be used as a fertilizer.

It also has traces of nutrients like manganese, zinc and copper, thus making it a balanced fertilizers.

Jatropha Oil
Jatropha seed is a drought-resistant perennial, growing well in marginal/poor sOil. It is easy to establish, grows relatively quickly and lives, producing seeds for many years.Jatropha the wonder plant produces seeds with an Oil content 25%-40% . The Oil can be combusted as fuel without being refined. It burns with clear smoke-free flame, tested successfully as fuel for simple diesel engine.
